Have you ever met a sixteen year old girl who owns her own business, who travels to a foreign country where she has never been before, gets on a plane and lands there with no place to stay; then, makes new friends, discovers new cultures, and parties on a two month poetic adventure with absolutely no fear ?

Well, if not meet Leah Tunkara. Having no fear and developing faith has been part of her walk in life. Leah is a multi-talented, multicultural African American woman. With over thirty years of travel experience including a variety of place’s in the UK, London England,France,Jamaica,Canada, Amsterdam, Mexico,New York, San Francisco, Hollywood, Iceland and Hawaii. Today Leah travels with the same enthusiasm as she did at sixteen when she first landed in Nassau, Bahamas.

Will be the first full-length documentary made for a worldwide theatrical release. The goal of this project is to promote positive change through uplifting story telling using real events, interviews, and evidence of new age life style as it is evolving. The segments are reality-based; however, the journey is through the eyes of the beholder, Leah Tunkara. The audience will be left with a reality-based experience of “being there” to hear, see, and learn what a specific community of artists are creating. The information is intended to inspire, entertain, guide, and enrich the viewer’s sense of possibilities in their own search for new experiences.

HISTORY OF THE SHOW
The television show ‘Leah’s Walk About’ is presently seeking development funds that will help facilitate a national TV series.

The bible for the program has already been crafted though years
of experience and experiments.
Using a variety of English titles like ‘LEAH RADIO’ Ms.Tunkara has solely produced over 55 productions in nine years. The vanguard films and shorts have been exhibited on Time Warner Cable in Hawaii to over 576,000 subscribers. What’s needed now is an

up grade in production values so that this coverage can be presented in more competitive markets.

Yet a variety of music such as Soul, Jazz, House, and live alternative world music will be included.

Incorporates, spiritual symbolisms, interactive, technology, trends
into the film experience. For example using lyrics to a popular song for the narrative (instead of just voice- over’s) Leah calls this, her super-imposed, ‘text message: karaoke.’ This brews an unpredictable excitement that engages the audience.

Who is the intended audience?

People are reaching ‘for the road less traveled” and these are multicultural people ranging from the ages of 35 to 54.
Leah’s WALKABOUTS bring the viewer into a specific time and place and gives you the “reality” experience of enjoying the moments with her.

The channel showcases world class reggae artist like STEEL PULSE, MIKEY DREAD, and the legendary BOB MARLEY family along with soulful, up-and-coming stars from Rootz, Dub, and Ska music. SPOKEN WORD SEGMENTS from her book: FROM HARLEM to MAUI. Host Leah gives humorous commentary with concerns for self-sustainability, yogic philosophy, court-ship between the sexes, discoveries and natural ‘GREEN’ good health.

When we first started the channel LeahTVdotcom Leah said that she thought ‘it be cool to get 5000 video views in a year.’ Well it surpass that several time’s over, with the present count being 199,700 views and still counting.
The written commentary on LeahTVdotcom by people from all over the world is overwhelmingly positive!
One fella wrote “Leah your god’s gift to the globe.” While most comments state “YOUR CHANNEL IS BEAUTIFUL, POSITIVE, and THANK-YOU” are common quotes.

HOW WILL THE FEATURE FILM, BE DIFFERENT FROM THE TV PROGRAM?

LEAH’S WALK ABOUT 12 will be more contrive and not as spontaneous, yet it will be more personal and cinematically STUNNING!
As a director, Ms.Tunkara plans to shoot more takes and create more moods, very similar to a scripted drama.
Leah trained as an actor in Hollywood where, she learned
‘Method acting’. Leah is a ‘pro’ at improvisation.
Leah’s acting coach (Greg Mullavey a television actor and a direct student of Lee Strasberg!) said ‘LEAH YOU can WRITE ON YOUR FEET!’

The Story?
Leah sets out to four corners of our world, Hawaii, San Francisco, India and Spain.
Music Festivals, self sustainability EXZIBITS, social consciousness,
Speeches, CULTURE and a place called home 1# Maui.
The Four venues of this documentary will show what it look’s like to coexist and be a ‘dream walker’ like our host. The answer too many long asked questions will be delivered to the soul of the viewer!
Aura Blue Ocean seems to follow Leah where ever she goes.

2# POWER TO THE PEACEFUL This starts at Golden Gate Park. Leah will be among the beautiful noisy protesters of America, sitting on tiny yellow daisy grass’ taking it all in.

3# India, the birth place of Buddha, Imam Pepper, (Leah’s great Grandfather). Bollywood, Gandhi,Yogananda, and OSHA some of the greatest Gurus of our time.
Leah will walk barefoot to a peaceful place then go enjoy delicious India food. More- then- likely an enlighten experience will happen and evolve!

4# Rototom Sun Splash, the biggest reggae festival in the world!
It has 150,000 in attendants.
Held in Italy for 16 years, it has moved to Spain. Leah will discover and capture on film what is most colorful!
Located at a seaside resort for 10 days, an unforgettable ‘time of your life’ is surely to emerge. What is offered is not just reggae music. After dancing, Leah Tunkara will take part in the
Beyond Music Program @ART symposium, GREENSPLASH AFRICAN Village, Living Energy, DEBATES, Reggae University.
This trip to Spain would make a great movie in-an-of itself! However, LEAH’S WALK ABOUT 12 has four vignettes, giving this film contrast and dimension, leaving our viewers with the award of getting four movies for the time of one.
